44+ Bmw 5 Series Key Not Working

Start a new bmw 5 series question. .x5 bmw and the key dosent work on the door how can i get in to the car my car has been sitting since may and i would start my bmw every once and awhile but the last time my bmw x5 remote key is not working at all i got a new key and is still not working you can replace batteries in remote keys.
